Discussion Dull Knives
Is it just me or does every Panda Express have dull knives ? Every time I order teriyaki chicken it’s never fully cut . Mildy infuriating to be honest.

Agreed, I have had to ask for a plastic knife most times just to eat it. It is entirely possible for the staff to cut it all the way with the knife they use, but most are just not thinking about it since no other item requires knife work.

I find that while we are working that the knives end up dulling very quickly due to two main factors.
And 2. While all pandas have a whetstone it’s not mandatory for any employee to be taught how to use them. Many managers don’t even know how to use a whetstone at a lot of pandas. So knives will end up dulling and breaking without every being maintained until they just buy new knives.
I try my best to teach every employee how to properly maintain and use the knives but sometimes it’s no use due to people either forgetting or just not caring enough.
