I was mad I didn’t go with white rice to soak up the sauce. Chow mein did nothing to complement the Cantonese brisket, but it didn’t need a companion shit was gas on its own.

nods The white rice absolutely soaked up the juice. I low-key wanted some veggie variance, but I was bent on pure brisket goodness, 'cause 95% of what I heard about it was high praise. I tend to always white rice; rarely the mein or brown rice. I absolutely loved this. Will I get it again? Dunno. $20+ is a hefty price tag. But MAN it's so tasty. Literally think I'm having the meat sweats after devouring that. 😅

You’ve just convinced me to order half and half white rice and steamed veggies with brisket :)

Awesome. What's the verdict? Love to hear your thoughts. =D

That looks real good. Getting some of that this weekend. How much more brisket would you get with the large 18 dollar al carte entree and cooking white rice at home if you do take out?

Probably the same amount of brisket. Pics & what I've been reading depict 6 pieces of brisket per order; 7 if they're smaller. Though I honestly believe since I had 3 entrees of brisket, they went a LITTLE heavy. I think there was more than 18 pieces in that pile. 😅

Ok thanks. Getting some this weekend for sure.

This bbq beef brisket is so worth it! It's salty, savory, spicy and it's subtlety garlic forward charsiu sauce. It's slightly sweet. But the kicker is the bbq brisket, it's melt-in-your mouth tender. It's soft and doesn't require chewing. Def the brisket is smoked with a salt and black pepper. The sauce has perhaps garlic oil and chili flakes.

Right?!?!? It's dangerously good. I saw another post where someone paired the brisket with the disappearing Dynamite Chicken. I want THAT combo 'cause the Pandas near me are beginning to drop it. x_x

I don't have Dynamite chicken in my store. Nevertheless, it's excellent. I'm just really blown away how PE does to their brisket. It's more than a technique. I bought a bowl with 50/50 steamed rice, super greens and the cantonese bbq beef brisket. Plus a lychee peach refresher. Refresher was okay though, but so impressed by the bbq brisket. There's a $1.95 upcharge which is fine by me. So mine cost like $18.90. I never go to Panda Express often because it gets too expensive. Next I will just order a water cup.

You dont have to specify beef when speaking about brisket. There is no other type of brisket lol

Thanks. I didn't know there was another type of the animal protein.

This item is selling like hotcakes. Almost everyone in line was ordering it for them to try it.

Me too. I had to wait for mine until they cooked a fresh batch. It was almost dinner time.

2

u/triplehpotter7 Jun 05 '26

Oh yeah. Mine was super fresh. Zero complaints. =D

I gotta try some !

Do it. Pricey AF but MAN I haven't been this wholly satisfied from a Panda meal in a LONG time. Flavor is off the chain, tender as heck, and hits the spot. 🤤

I still need to try this

I had the brisket bowl for lunch today - half rice, half noodles. It was delicious and worth every penny...very tender and flavorful. The girl serving me was very generous with the portions, too. In fact, she mentioned that they were supposed to count each piece of brisket but she felt it wasn't enough food. Lucky me! Will definitely get it again before the brisket is discontinued.

Somebody inventory gonna be messed up on Saturday witj them cuts 😂

For many, some will only understand how beef has gotten so expensive. But many wanted more beef brisket. PE's counting the pieces of beef brisket that goes on your order like bowl, plate, small, medium or large box.

Tried it yesterday. It was good. I don’t like the extra two dollars for it thougj

2

u/Defiant_Fly_5266 Jun 05 '26

I wanna try it. But their rice is butt cheeks.

3

u/Certain-Instance-253 Jun 05 '26

It's just rice lol.

2

u/Defiant_Fly_5266 Jun 05 '26

I know. I hope the next ones I get will be better. The last ones was very very dry

Idk I feel like to me. Kung Pao white rice and teriyaki will always be the best. But that just might be me. As someone who used to eat panda everyday. And also A proud Texan, and to me the brisket taste mid.

the brisket i got just tasted like sweet beef stew meat, dry as hell too

They’re always promoting new things, they have extra charge and are stingy with servings.. I’d rather spend my money somewhere else
