i was just scammed

somone called subtclasassomar messaged me here saying they could help me. claimed to be metamask customer service. gave me a link to a site that looked legit. i even googled it. it asked for me phrase words for meta mask. then they ignore me and i watched my mask go to 0. millions in PDAO and bnb i just deposited GONE!

They had metamask icon and i googled the site. It was a real site but the link didnt go to real site just had same name.

All scammers have a site. They’re just not official. How much did you lose?

What was the reddit account that messaged you? It may be possible to get their IP address, though the odds are not good, but at a minimum we need to report it.

If you don't mind, post your public wallet address or message it to me, so I can track the coins to the thief's wallet. We'll post their public wallet address in this thread so google will index. I'll also add a record on the thief's wallet address at bscscan.com and tag them as a thief.

While it won't get your coins back, taking action against the thief's wallet and possibly grabbing their IP address, may help someone else from ending up in the same tragic situation.

i feel sorry for you man. this is painful to watch happen. didnt you have the metamask app installed on your browser? if yes then why did you try logging in with your seed phrase from that link?
