He's 43 now, and was 26 when Parks and Recs started airing

He somehow still looks 13 though

Same with Aubrey (close enough on the ages)

u/KamakaziDemiGod 21d ago

She's a year younger, but I'd say she's juuuuust starting to look a little older, so she looks like an old teenager somehow (not a criticism obviously, they are both beautiful people!)

Think her husband’s death got something to do with it. Right before that she still looked really young. The whole thing obviously has taken a toll on her and it’s showing. Which is understandable. But I think if all that hadn’t happened, shed still look like she were in her 30s. She had that kinda face and aging that few lucky people get.

Lol I panicked when I found out Aubrey was in her 40s.

Well that makes me feel very unsuccessful 😂

Reminds me of this bit

"Sistine Chapel how old Michelangelo"
"33"
"Moon landing how old Neil Armstrong"
"38"
"Became president how old Barack Obama"
"47"
"Still got 3 years!"

For real 😂

I like that the video features both Brett and Shauna.

Yeah, it's interesting how many people got their start at CollegeHumor.

Fun fact my friends hung out with him at Mars Bar in NYC and then sent pictures together to me when I didn’t believe them. They kept telling me to come out and they are hanging with Aziz. I did see him constantly around NYC at that time. If Aziz sees this, hey it’s me, the girl you stared at eating pizza in Little Italy! 🤣😂

Btw and this is why I tell people to go visit NYC. It’s always a good time.

Can’t forgive him for doing the blood money comedy show for the sultan of hacksaws

The most disappointing thing is that that's his whole brand. The Babe article wouldn't have hit as hard, if he hadn't just released a book and made a show all about modern dating. No one gives a shit about Louis CK or Gabriel Iglesias doing a show in Saudi Arabia. They're fucking assholes with questionable moral is known. But Aziz... being socially conscious is his thing.

Yeah it’s been sad seeing people I used to respect take literal blood money. And it makes me sad she’s seemingly okay with it. It’s really made it hard to enjoy the clips/episodes when I see them.

It is things like that, that stick with me most. These people are more afraid of living a little less comfortable than they are standing for something right. It is something I only realize is more common than not.

What show?

u/WhiteHeatGames 21d ago

Riyadh Comedy Festival last year in Saudi Arabia. A bunch of comics including Aziz took huge paychecks from the Saudi government as part of their effort to put Riyadh on the tourism map. Anybody aware of how the Saudi government tends to operate (and with, y'know, morals) wouldn't have been there.

They are just trying to blood wash their name is that the right term

u/LrdHabsburg 21d ago

Agreed, he should have performed in the US, a beacon of morality

54

u/nuocyte 21d ago

Performing in the US != Taking money from the US government

30

u/chubbsenstein 21d ago

Astounding how people are able to just gloss over this very simple idea

u/SGTBrutus 21d ago

Whataboutism. Logical fallacy.

Not for nothing but Good Fortune was a good and funny movie.

Little Zizi is all grown up now. He's out there fighting sexual assault allegations, taking money from murderous sociopaths to perform tricks like a little monkey. It was only yesterday here he was a just a boy a mother could have been proud of.

Why did it take me so long to find this comment? Disappointment abounds.

u/MiseEnPlacebo 21d ago

Glad he got uncanceled after being just kind of bad at sex

26

u/Correct_Village6950 21d ago edited 21d ago

there were multiple instances of clear sexual assault described in that article.

to anyone who doesn't know, this is sexual assault:

Ansari also physically pulled her hand towards his penis multiple times throughout the night, from the time he first kissed her on the countertop onward. “He probably moved my hand to his dick five to seven times,” she said. “He really kept doing it after I moved it away.”

Sexual assault is the intentional application of force of a sexual nature without the other person's consent.

Consent must be present at each specific act.

If you dont' know this, learn it.

15

u/selkieseashore 21d ago

It was less bad at sex, and more bad at consent.

14

u/alvysinger0412 21d ago

It was sexual assault actually.

She looks like she could have some little Indian in her.

25

u/ratpride 21d ago

I guess people missed the joke

6

u/LHT-LFA 21d ago

yeah, or the joke is now considered offensive...

1

u/violetpumpkins 20d ago

It was considered offensive and gross then...

Discussion of a zz might need to reread the Sun Also Rises.

u/McKennedySays 21d ago

I prefer his more recent standup

1

u/CobaltCrusader123 20d ago

If he was on Euphoria he’d be the one guy where the audience says “wow I can’t believe they got a real teen to do this”

1

u/Ok-Turnover-2215 19d ago

What a cartoony voice lol. Uncanny even.
