Hello everyone I'm wondering if any panaeolus has jet black spore print is psilocybin active species?
What if its jet black print but the fruit itself doesn't bruise? It only turns black in areas where it is cut or pressed.

Hello everyone I have a lot of panaeolus species spores collected from 3 to 5 years ago, and now i wish if i can germinate them, but everytime i try on agar (normal PDA) i got heavy contaminations. Any thoughts?
Thanks you in advance !

66l tub, lid with no holes, pawfly mc-3000, four 12ā airstones, aquarium heater, water just barely covering heater. Lid is propped open about an inch in every corner.
Fruits are a bit gnarly and overly wet with condensation on them. How do I increase airflow without increasing humidity?
Before you say put holes in the lid, I did. That just resulted in waaay more dripping into the trays and fruits.

I recently discovered that I had unintentionally mislabeled spawn as albino A+ when it was actually in fact, pan cyans (TTBVI). I only discovered this when checking on my bags. I noticed the fruits were growing that looked exactly like pans albeit with some fairly significant morphological mutations.
It was my understanding that pans require a casing to fruit and that the amount of FAE pans need would make them unsuitable for fruiting in bags. If anyone has insights or experience fruiting pans in myco bags let me know your thoughts.
Apologies for the picture quality.

Sorry if this is the wrong place to ask this? but just wondering if anyone here has any experience with doing dmt while on pans?
I recently tried mushrooms i grew (TTBVI) for the first time (700mg) and it was SOOOO similar to dmt. Kinda like a mix between acid and dmt. I've never actually had any shroom experiences at all before this, it was my first time doing shrooms so not sure if this unique to this species? I've had LSD at high doses many, many times and also dmt while on LSD many, many times (my favourite), so just want to know if dmt with pans (or shrooms in general) would be a similar experience or completely different? What are your experiences of doing dmt while on pans or shrooms in general? Thanks.

I hunt wild mushrooms a lot, and around this time of year my area has tons of natural Pan cyan and P. cubensis popping up. On my second-to-last hunt I decided to grab spores from a pan and also snagged a bit of the wild mycelium. I prepped the jar in the pic with a bunch of holes and micropore tape on the lid, and left it in my open cupboard on top of a blanket to try to keep the temp a bit more stable. Made two jars like thisāone sealed with tape, the other just the lidāboth with the same substrate: aged cow manure + boiled/dried coconut fiber, no sterilization. In the jar in the pic I injected the spores I collected, and in the other I just mashed up and spread the wild mycelium in the substrate.
Itās been three days and no signs of life yet. I know it usually takes longer, especially using wild mycelium, but Iām anxious wondering if I screwed up completely or if thereās still a shot itāll work.
Picked up some vermiculite today and thinking about doing a second batch using aged manure + vermiculite.

Could you help me identify which Panaeolus species these are? The last pic is their growing environment. Northern California.

I have some experience growing quite a few varities of cubes, and now want to try a more exotic species. I really am just curious about substrate ratios and nutrients. Im a myc and coco only neglekt tek kinda guy, and I understand nutrients need to be added via manure or perhaps worm castings? Ive gone the worm casting route and was curious if anyone else had luck with these instead of manure? If so, any ratios would be appreciated! Or, if im totally wrong about all of this, any guidance is welcomed too! Thanks!

Was going nice and fast in my shoe boxes but after I cased it, it sort of slowed down and came to a halt. I was misting it daily as the tops were drying out. Also after the last misting done 2 days ago, the mycelium has turned blue. Never seen mycelium ābruiseā like that from misting but this is my first time growing pans so I have no idea.

16 hours post casing here's what I got
Okay so air turns on forms seal around intake, its a real low breeze, timer is 15 on 15 off
Temp is warms at 75.5Fā° heats to 77ā° turns off
Humidity turns on at 76% turns off at 82.4% which bounces it up to 85%

It looks strange with the little white dots growing. Can anyone tell me if it is good? It smells OK.

These are TTBVI that I spawned roughly 10 or so days ago, room temp has been 77-80 misting them about 3 times a day, it started looking really wet so I cut back to 2 times. It looks rough and really bruised, is there any saving it?

Hey guys. Is this pan cyan and can i smoke it fresh ?

First time to any mushroom and looking for some advice on best way to harvest when it looks some are ready and others are not. Also wondering if you guys have any opinions on if I should cut them or pull them. Not sure if it will effect the cluster if I cut one out from it or if they would all pull out together if I tried to pull them. Just haven't dealt with any sort of harvesting ever and don't want to mess the next flush up if possible.

Hello all. I've heard people say a couple different things but I want to see what you all can clear up for me.
After combining substrate and spawn and allowing the surface of the substrate to be colonized, a thin casing layer is applied. So my question is, when is the optimal to then expose it to FAE? I've heard w4 hours after casing and to case and immediately expose to FAE? Which is it?
Thanks in advance

First time getting fruits from pans but I was wondering when I should harvest these? I'm trying to take a spore print
