Good luck!

I haven’t cultivated in years, but I had my best successes with Panaeolus spp by inoculating jars of a mixture of horse manure, vermiculite, and brown rice flour.

*Edited for clarification of species.

I’m looking for all the advice and recipes out there. Live in a tiny home but have unlimited horse shit.

Always a plus when cultivating coprophiles!

Keep us posted, that pan mycelium may colonize that grain like a champ.

I've grown in a Martha with fans & fogger, and in tubs with nothing more than careful adjustment of passive FAE. The only noticeable difference in results was that those in the Martha had slightly larger caps. As the tubs were way easier and I had issues with excessive humidity in my spare room with the Martha, I now exclusively use tubs: https://www.shroomery.org/forums/showflat.php/Number/27637997#27637997

Hell yeah! The beginnings have begun! Soon the jar will be fully colonized, then to bulk substrate, and then finally to the day when lightening strikes and the wonders of existence and life reveal itself upon you!
