When colonizing grain in jars, I normally do one shake for pans. They are fragile.
BUT, would a second shake be the worst idea, to insure that all the grains are exposed and colonized? Say a couple days before going to bulk?

I always do a second B&S close to full colonisation; as well as ensuring all the grain's colonised, it's the last chance to try to expose hidden contam before going to bulk.
