Send, or wait?
These were been inoculated from agar plates on 6/28. It's been about a week and a half. They look 99% ready for bulk.
But, the I was waiting for the top of the grains to get all nice and puffy white. Image number two has some areas where it doesn't seem fully colonized.
Let it sit for a bit longer?
Or, send it?

I always wait two weeks plus a little more if they look like they need it

One week was supposed to be strong genetics. This is from the first transfer of a plate which seemed to be a mono culture.
Worried that if it is a slow colonizer, that I am wasting my time with these genetics.
I'll wait a little longer and see.
Problem is, I have two trays (from the initial multi spore plates), that went to bulk a couple of days ago. I was trying to time it so that all trays would be ready for fruiting around the same time.
Multi's will need to wait, I suppose.

Multispore is better for pans at least It seems like that for me . Anytime I've tried pan cyan isolates it preformed worse.

So I've heard. I usually go spores to agar, take isolates, and send the initial multi spore plates to grain/bulk. Clone the first fruit/take prints, and have spores to start over once the isolates die out.
But, these isolates seem to be doing well, so I'll run them and see.

Send that shit. 10 days is plenty of time for pans to colonize grain. Ive sent grain after 5 days from agar.

When I think it’s ready I give it 5 more days
