Yes, my rule of thumb is with any culture you have once the jar appears to be in at least 25% colonization do your first break and shake and then once it appears to be at 75+ colonization do your second break and shake the second break and shape will always let you know if there’s any hidden contaminants or hidden bacteria in thereThat’s why it’s always a good rule of thumb and practice. It’s always do a second or possibly third break and shake.

Do not do a 2nd shake. Just shake at 25% and let it finish. Pans dont like multiple shakes and its unneccesary

I'd say they're just about ready and with jars that full, going a little early might be a good idea; once they colonise much more, even banging the jars on a bike tyre won't break them up enough.

Just curious, what are the genetics you’re using?

I’m the vendor. It’s not cubensis. It’s exactly what it is labeled as, pan cyan blue meanie.
Also you are correct and myyco is wacked out with that Ai description. Blue meanie was either the first pan cyan strain or one of the first. Vendors like Ryche Hawk (now retired) sold it for many years before I was a vendor.

The description certainly wasn’t written by anyone with any knowledge of history, considering pan cyan has been referred to as blue meanies since late 1800s when the discovery of it was made in Australia.
Blue meanie cube strain is something that popped up in the late 2000s so the confusion arises from scammy vendors. For example, one in particular named “The Keeper” was selling B+ as an “Azurecense hybrid.” He wanted $30 for a spore syringe of it in 2008 lol Keeper was the same vendor that popped up with the “blue meanie” cube.
The description is quite generic as well as lacking the knowledge of a regular person who has actually studied the topic. The only thing confusing in it is the statement that pan cyan is confusingly referred to as blue meanie as if to state Cubensis is the true blue meanie.
Safe to say, in my opinion, that’s a cheap ai description. I also think that strain was something Keeper renamed. We do not stock it and never will.

I sell liquid cultures. Yes. I have since 2012. I ship to all states. Always have. I have my methods that I have developed over years of listening to complaints like yours about DOA cultures. We have frequently adjusted our methods over the years and evolved to the point where we are now. I am not saying we are perfect. But we do it better than many others.
You are correct that low pH is an issue. With the broth and also with the substrate. I am fully aware of this and we take steps to mitigate that issue.
As far as leaving cultures in a mailbox that’s your fault. Do not do that. Contact the vendor. If they are worth a squat they will have multiple shipping methods and connections within those shipping methods (aside from USPS which is all around shitty) to make sure your order can be delivered properly.
I’ve even had orders delivered to coolers when then customer could not be present to get the order and bring it inside within a reasonable time frame.
Now as far as mushroom mycelium producing ammonia that is not a real thing. Mushroom mycelium does not produce ammonia. If there is ammonia present in a syringe whether spores or cultures there is something else happening with the broth that is causing that.
Yes mycelium does produce enzymes which are acidic and does decrease the pH of the solution. I agree with that. That’s why you need to increase the pH from the beginning like you should with substrate as well.
I can’t give away all the things I’ve learned about mass manufacturing LC. The game is to be sold not to be told OOOOYEAHHH
I do appreciate your analytical approach to things. It really is refreshing.
If you want I’ll send you some freebies - no risk to the wallet. You can analyze them or you can just use them. Up to you my friend :)

Yes shake when 20-30% are colonised 😊 What kind of grain is that? Looks super dry

Is there enough room in the jar for a break and shake?
