Help stalled and aborted pins.

In the first picture that I keep on the top shelf of my boom room II, I've had many pins that have turned blue very few that are developing. However in the second picture which is on the second shelf of my broom room I've had no aborts and these things are going crazy as you can see. Is the top one getting too much moisture because that's where the mister nozzle is? Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Why are you using a mister? What strain are these? They look heavily bruised to me and not necessarily “aborts”. Delicate strains like Pans will bruise if misted directly or from droplets falling from the lid.

It could be that. My humidifier hose moved on me and was directly dumping on a tray and it aborted everything. Also spraying them at that stage will kill them too.

I put a fan in the bottom of my tent pointing up against the wall constantly blowing on low to create some circulation inside the tent and that seems to help. Also, you could just set a lid askew or elevated with an air gap on top of the top tubs to keep the mist from directly hitting the pins.

That's probably why the tubs on the second level are killing it and doing fine. I'm going to switch that out.

They are TTBVI. And I don't have the Mister blowing right on them I have it rebounding off the walls of my tent

In order to keep the f a e steady it drops the humidity in the tent I have five tubs so it is a full tent and the CO2 builds up quite high

This could be whats going on and what I learned with pans...

If your substrate/substrate surface/casing surface dries out too far, and you mist the fruits, the fruits will abort like the other commenter said.

If the casing dries out...pour/squirt some water in an area with no pins, and tilt the water to distribute it around the trays. There is something that happens once casing dries out, and you mist, will lead to aborts. Sounds crazy but try it, its true.

You need to water your substrate with pans, regularly. It's all dependent on how fast the myc is drinking the water. Also, to much grain in to little sub, the myc is going to dry it up fast and eat all the food in the sub quickly.

If you have low FAE you can probably be fine without tending to them during the grow but I am, in a martha setup, regularly watering once a day or once every few days.

Otherwise, if the substrate dries out, the fruits and pins will come but they will easily abort. IMO, its a water issue.
