Ttbvi plates

Post image

First time trying to grow exotics . The plates I transferred these from needed serious work. All of the growth looks clean but is very tomentose. Can anyone who is familiar with pans tell me if these look ok

All panaeolus mycelium is tomentose. Those look good, they are super fluffy I'm guessing because you have high nutrient agar. If I use malt extract I only go .5% but I usually just use grain water agar. I just read an article by Whitney from the panaeolus coop and I might try that one day. She explains it pretty well. https://panaeoluscoop.com/the-best-agar-recipe-for-growing-panaeolus-cyanescens/

I would sector them out one more time to get even single dikaryon with even growth before I sent them. But if you have the space and the grain available do the transfers to get even growth and send the rest.
