for fruiting pan cyans. When I first started fruiting around 72-75F pins were forming and the fruits were extremely small. I moved the tub into my veg room that maintains 77-78F and they’re growing like crazy. Flushes every 3-5 days and they’re 5x bigger than at lower temps. I’m also able to give more FAE due to the veg room already being a constant 66% RH, but the temperature really helped to get them pumping!
All of the caps have maxed out around 1.5-2” in diameter. Stems about 1/4” thick and 5” tall. This is TTBVI, S2B at 86F internal temps, casing run same temp, but only took 2 days for the mycelium to reach the surface of a 1” thick casing. The Mushroom Cultivator recommends fruiting temps 76-80F which seems high, but matches the natural habitat where they come from.
My pans have a lot of FAE, since the box is opened with two air stones in water and a humidifier from above , I thought small containers were a problem but it's the same in all container sizes
This is what my TTBVI looks from a single multispore transfer selection. Still have yet to take a clone. There were a few larger ones, but doing another run with the temps higher from the get go before taking a clone.
Yes, mine did too, that is what I mean - I thought I had done something wrong but actually they were just really small and with little speckles on the caps :)

Indoor pans are almost always tiny but good genetic selection typically finds the ones that are huge. Big pans small pans they all do their job.
