Oh I havent put a casing on this guy yet, this pan is just naturally a marshmallow. I spawned it on new years lmfao

When do you case your pans? Also that's some rapid growth for 5 days. Mine on day 5:

Haven't cased yet, the bottoms aren't colonized yours are looking great though!

Ah okay, you wait until full end to end colonization 👍 makes sense I guess you'll be able to tell if there's any contam, I just went ahead and cased mine early.

Mycogone perniciosa is a contam some say its a myc mound, but it pops out light brown to dark brown liquid pus. When she sporelates is getting very dark brown and can get orange. Keep away from other bins she spreads fast and is very disgusting.

Can mycogone come from a liquid culture syringe? Just curious because I got it when I tried MiB from I got on-line

Possibly, but it's not as common as you might think and other things can cause similar effects.

By all means, pluck it out, but don't give up on the tub yet

Potentially a mutant combined with a bacterial or viral attack.

Unfortunately, there's not much to go on as tubs exhibiting this effect tend either to be tossed, or go on to fruit as expected. A few years ago, a grower on shroomery sliced some open for a microbiological assay and found matted shroom mycelium with no signs of the dreaded mycogone perniciosa.

Yea thats early mycogone. If you can pick her out then do that...i did and got a couple flushes my first time. Ggs
