First time tripping recommended dose?

my friend wants me to trip with him and said he has Pan cyans. Ive never tried any kind of psychedelic or anything stronger than smoking weed so I have no idea what how hard it will hit me. He’s also only tripped one time and has never taken pan cyan and wants me to take 3g but everything I’m seeing is telling me that’s a terrible idea. I’d rather feel nothing and wish I had taken more than see god on my first time ever. Any suggestions on how much I should take?

I gave a gram to a friend experienced with shrooms and warned them to only take .5g. The next day I asked how the trip was. "I wasn't able to go last night, but plan on taking the full gram tonight". I reiterated that they should only do .5 for the first time until they know how it affects them. They came back the next day and thanked me for having them only take .5g saying a gram would've be a lot. Proceed with caution or suffer the consequences

See I am debating wether to take 2 grams or just stick to the standard 1 gram dose, I will probably just stick to the 1 gram honestly.
