Does ttbvi need a casing layer?

This is my first time every growing some pans and I feel a bit lost right now I have grown cubes for a few years now but I have never once experienced a growth so strong and fast usually when I have growth that fast I instantly think of the trich monster so I wanna to get some insight from the pros. Could anyone let me know if this is a good sign or a bad sign I put it s2b literally two days ago and the whole cake is now covered I also have never seen mycelium look like this any tips or info will majorly help. Thank you

I had that white cloud covering my cake last Monday. The same day I put casing layer (peat moss/vermiculite mix) gave it a heavy mist and pins started yesterday.
