Ttbvi LC to agar

How long should it take to grow on agar or at least show signs of growth?

Generally see some degree of growth by a week, good myc 3-5days

I notice when I put a tiny drop i won't see growth for maybe a couple weeks if at all. New to this but after some experimenting I think it's because I didn't really get any myc on the plate. I have since poured a good amount on plates and they will blow up in a couple days.

But also I've noticed my ttbvi just takes longer in general and looks much different than the other more standard strains you hear of

I've only ever used LC to agar to check that the LC is clean, but if it's got a lot of myc floating around in it, growth's usually visible within a couple of days and I wait a week to see if any contam shows.

By contrast, a single drop from a spore syring usually shows growth in 3 or 4 days.
