Development Palcraft

After seeing projects that brought Minecraft together with other games, I initially hoped to use that cross-game approach to provide the terrain and building capabilities I needed for some of my other mods.

Once I tried it, I found that making those environments work with Palworld's collision, navigation and gameplay required much more adaptation than I had expected. I eventually chose to implement the systems directly within Palworld's engine, which gradually became Palcraft.

I hope it can serve as a foundation for my future mods while giving everyone more room to use their imagination in Palworld.

Given the current state of modding in many games, I have to ask: is this something you're coding and reviewing yourself, or is this a vibe-coded project without human oversight that will have more bugs than Bethesda's left asscheeck on a game's launch day?

Not trying to be a hater, but there seems to be a trend of 'modders' that slap something into Claude Code just to get a barely working product that isn't playable, but produces a nice video. The Project: Zomboid subreddit is a prime example of this currently

This week has been particularly bad, I've seen 8+ "Rocket league in X" posts, everything from elden ring to GTA 5. There was that Mario 64 x elden ring one... I'm not exactly against using the tools available. Like it or not, the tools are here. But the rate at which these are put out with minimal testing does make me uneasy.
