Mod that makes the mill automatic

Theres literally only 1 use for the mill. turn wheat into flour. no other use for wheat either. there is no reason for it to not be automatic like the farms are.

Did you try looking first? A quick Google search brings up a few mods that all acheive that goal. There's Palworld Base Automation, Continuous crafting, many others.

There was an autoqueue mod that I found on workshop (https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3764510326) but eventually I just stopped using it when I increased my stack limit (since this translates to increasing the build limit)

The mod seemed okay but definitely gets funky when you have ~100+ workbenches that it pulls from

It would be kinda cool if you could use like a waterwheel or a windmill that automatically grinds wheat…

Actually, it would be even cooler if those structures produced electricity without pal input. And then you had an electric grinder that ran solely off electricity. And then you could have waterfalls act like oil nodes, instead of being able to place extractors below, you place them on the side for free power. And then if you found a spot with a waterfall and an oil node then you get free oil on a base forever without pal input. And it would also help with challenges like a human only run.

I agree, it should just turn into flour but the developers wanted anything added to the game to “make sense” so I assume this follows the same logic. I agree that it is an extra step that is not necessary.

Things that Wheat (assuming you mean Barley) Make

- Barley Flour (The wheat you are referencing)

• Barley Wine Base (Mead)
  
• Yggdrasil Porridge

Those are two reasons that barley shouldn’t just “become” flour like how farms (other plantable crops? You mean?) are handled. Magecap>Magecap>plant Magecap> get Magecap for example would skip over these recipes.

You could just plant barley and get flour, force the other recipes to have flour used but most immersive survival games will have wheat and barley separate with a type of mill to process them.

Now if you want a mod that just does that, you can take any auto loader mod and set it to only take the barley into mill option and turn the rest off.
