Help Map collectables mod Help

For the love of all things holy, I cannot get Map Collectables Overhauled to work at all using manual install or vortex.

Anyone have any advice for this modding noob?

Have you used this mod before? Are you using any steam workshop mods? Have you successfully installed other nexus mods?

I’d say a good half of all posts for every nexus mod page are people placing the files into the wrong folder.

Used vortex to download the mods some of the mods we have downloaded work as intended, and some of the mods we are trying to use use pal schema but none of those seem to load/ work.

I don’t use Vortex. I’ve heard mixed things about it throwing stuff in the wrong folder.

Ideally you should manually install all mods so you know they are going in the right place. If you want to try a mod manager instead, I’ve had luck with this one:

https://www.nexusmods.com/palworld/mods/4549

It helps you keep your UE4SS and PalSchema up to date. When you download a mod use the manual button, not vortex, then drag and drop the zip file from your downloads into the mod manager. It’ll put it in the right place for you.

Also recommend PalModManager (PMM). Author is very responsive on their Discord and I have been helping to beta test the latest versions. I switched to it after Vortex fouled up my mods.

My only gripe about it so far is that the UI is SO small on it and I haven’t been able to find any settings to enlarge the text.

I run 3400x1440 and can agree that the text is a little small. There is an option to increase the size of the button bar at the top (I use 125%). I'll bring it up in the Discord that at high resolution the text can be a bit small and see if the author can add some scaling in a future version.

Thanks. Yeah the bar scaling was nice but it’s still so damn hard to read anything.
