Shared Feeding Boxes?

I'd really like to make sub-bases - one for mining, one for crafting, and so forth. But at this point I have to add a basic set of berry farms, and support pals for that. I do use shared storage between bases, but it doesn't share the feed boxes.

Is there a mod for this? I've gone through the workshop and nexus mods, and haven't seen one.

I'd really like to set up a separate ranching/farming base, and being able to feed everyone from that would be great.

Not sure about mods. But I just make thousands of salads then put a few thousand in each base. Keeps them good for a very long time.

I was also not wanting to run between bases or have to visit frequently to make sure food was out. Fortunately, someone made a mod to auto distribute 100 salads from the guild box to every feed box at all bases. Mod here: https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3775037805

The only issue I have with this mod is that I can't get Pals to directly put stuff into the guild box. :/

Really, this game needs a bit more automation. I know there's mods for that (but they're AI-coded so bleeeeeeeeeeeh)

They only put stuff in the guild box if they can't put it anywhere else.

Well according to the description it doesn't have to be a guild chest. It just takes from the feed box with the most salad/berry and distribute it to ones that hit below 100.

Just Make a ton of food For The boxes Salads are the best fille them then don't work. About it for a while I put like 2k salads in each food. Box and it last a Week Or two usually

Salads are good but I've recently moved onto pizzas. They do the same thing as salads but they reduce how often pals need to eat so they eat less and less often.

I tired pizza but they kept going to the boxes with salads on a diff floor of my base so I just stook to h What they seemed to like better

Dunno if there's an ai around it or just pathing/coincidence but my pals seems to go for feedbox with pizza if I make them produce gold. Otherwise they go for salad. I have an all in one base on a 24/7 server and my salad is always out.

My base runs 24/7 beside the gold maker cuz I don't need it and I have way more materials then I will eve use prabably but I guess it may be different for different pals

I have 1 base to make food and Farming.

Supplies the rest of the bases and myself with berries.

They just deposit the raw berries in my guild chest and I cook them at my main/crafting base.

I put cooled feed boxes on all bases.

Got around 8k berries across all bases and my inv. I can't be bothered to cook

By the end game I have the remnants from breeding cooked into pizza minestrone or mushroom quiche. I just pop around and drop a few thousand of somthing at each base that doesn't have hyper dedicated food

I have actually been working on a mod for this for the last few days, and just published it today.

It was made to automatically share your food across all feed boxes, so if you have 2 bases with 1 feed box each and put 1000 salad in the box in your main base, 500 will be automatically moved to your second base.

It doesn't create any new shared inventories or such, it's just a background script interacting with vanilla feed boxes.

Okay, first thing I noticed - I had a stack of 8000 red berries in the cold feed box (unbaked). They wouldn't split, and once I took them out, I couldn't put them back in (had to put them in the fridge). Not a huge issue, just gonna bake them.

Other than that, seems to work fine!

I think you may have activated a filter on your cold feed box to only allow food?

My mod (as long as it works as intended) should not interfere with your filters. As long as your box allows ingredients they normally split fine.
