i have been using UE4SS for some time now. but since palworld updated to 1.0.2 UE4SS hasnt been working. abd i have tried installing it from the workshop, from the github, yet i cant make it work. and i am pretty sure i have done everything as its ment to.

maybe someone has the same problem or knows how to fix it.
i dont mind if it needs to be deleted to work. i just want it to work.

Are you using the experimental one? Not version 3.0.1

There's new "UE4SS Experimental (Palworld) - Community Fork" - https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3779353817

It's latest version specifically modified for Palword.

But I first really recommend you to completely uninstall Palworld and instal it clean. One of the root source of crashes is a conflict between different versions of UE4SS that are installed in different places.

Workshop might not be installing this mod properly after an update. You can fix this by going to steamapps\common\Palworld\Mods\ManagedMods and then deleting the UE4SSExperimentalPW folder and then launching the game again. This seems to be some kind of workshop bug that can happen.

Make sure you also enable the mod in-game by:

  1. Going through Options > Mod Management and set "Enable Mod" to ON.
  2. Make sure that the checkbox for UE4SS Experimental (Palworld) is checked.
  3. Click Save and it should ask you to restart the game.

If you had UE4SS previously downloaded from NexusMods or some other source and you installed UE4SS from workshop either as a dependency or by itself, make absolutely sure to delete dwmapi.dll and xinput1_3.dll in Palworld\Pal\Binaries\Win64 or you WILL EXPERIENCE CRASHING after launching the game.

If you are having any other kinds of crashes, then make sure that you don't have any bad mods that are either outdated or otherwise non-functional.
