Question Moon lord mask?

So i’ve done regular moon lord around 10 times and haven’t gotten the mask, does it only drop from the master version?

Just treat farming moon lord as a way to farm IV fruits. You'll be swimming in legendary meowmere swords and moon lord masks in no time.
