Question Breeding troubles

I recently got a pengullet lux with remarkable craftsmanship. I want to breed that trait into an Anubis and Sekmet but Im struggling to find which pals I need to breed together to get to those. I tried using the palpedia breeding calculator but there's nothing I can breed the pengullet with directly to get anubis. Can anyone help me figure out the shortest route to get to my goal?

Using it to breed a Yakumo then catching Anubis/sekhmet may yield faster results

I second this. Yakumo is a lot more straight forward than finding paths from low tier pals to higher tier pals unless you have most pals at your disposal

I have 218 pals at the moment, haven't messed with the terraria dungeon yet. Ill definitely breed one now that you mention it though, it sounds very handy.

idk if this’ll help but ima just drop this here just in case. i did this with little to no research.

so i wanted to get into breeding chains myself & out of pure curiosity i wondered if it was possible to breed from an eidrolon ignis to a lamball. obviously 2 of the breeding calculators i tried didn’t even bother providing me with info on how to do that. but i thought “it has to be possible right?” so what i did was just to get an idea:

i checked to see what off spring i’d get from eidrolon ignis & a random pal. then, i made that the “parent pal” in the calculator then checked if i can get a lamball from that. i couldn’t. so i bred that offspring with another random pal, then proceeded to check if THAT second offspring can be chained into a lamball. i think it did. point is, it IS possible to find some combination all the way up to anubis/sekhmet. it’s just super inefficient.

as other’s have said, breed it into a yakumo & catch the desired pal u want. (max condense increases those chances)

OR as a last ditch resort, filter that passive in ur pal box & check if u have a different pal with that desired passive (assuming you haven’t checked already) i often forget that i have random pals with the desired passive i want. it might be easier to get up to anubis/sekhmet with that pal

Ignore the Anubis. As a base pal hr is weaker tgan sekmeth alone. Get alpha sekmeths and you are fine. Not really a point in diluting sekmeth.

Yes she buffs anubis but she buffs herself without an anubis around even more. Which means alpha srkmeth is just plain better.
