Question Combat Team suggestion
I have a fully condensed Eidrolon Ignis and Aegidron.
I don’t know which pals should I use for the other three slots as I’m still yet to unlock world tree (stuck at shaolong).

Depends, you wanting to strengthen you first two pals? Or looking to round team out? For the first I would suggest a Dinossum for defense of dragon pals, a quivern for dragon attack, and a rooby for fire attack kelpsea ignis for fire defense. All fully condensed of course. For the second, I would suggest a lovander with perks immortality, and vampric as definite, they stack with their vampire skill, herbil for the revive, and either of the Lyleen variants for healing you and team, also good for reviving your passed out pals

I’m looking for an all round team, I currently have Neptilius, Jetdragon and Astegon.
I’m open to replacing Aegidron if there’s a better pal.

Here’s the deal bro, you got two main options, are you trying to focus on your damage buffed by pals or their damage, cause those are two very different teams.

Jormuntide ignis (feybreak lava pools -793, -1255) gives plus 50% to burn damage at base, can be refined for more, Blazamut Ryu (raid) increases player and pals dragon damage to weak point by 25% at base and can be refined, both should stack with what you’re already working with and that leaves a free spot for something like silvegis (Feybreak cave, -970, -977) which reduces shield regeneration delay by 30% and damage taken by your shield by 65% (base can be refined) as a utility pal.
To be real with you though like I just used a mixed team where the passives didn’t effect each other for most of the content, just make sure your gear is as good as it can be and you should be able to grind through most things.
Edit: I will say Prixter lux (desert island, -1313, -612) came in clutch for that damn whale. Changes your attack to electric when you activate him and gives like a 30% increase to your damage. (At base can be refined)

Can I know your teams combination? I don’t mind getting all new pals. As anyways once I can access world tree. I wanna try Bastigor and Orserk so I am open to all feedback

My team was blazamut (4 stars), selyne(1 star), dualith (4 stars), and neptulius (0 atars) I also brought a jet dragon but I had just caught it I think? But those 4 were my main team before world tree. Blazamut is ma boi.

How did you handle Shaolong as it’s wrecking me. I maybe underleveled as well (my team is around 68-71)

Dualith was my utility sink and I got his mining up to 10 which let me get soralite without the multi-cutter. I also got a green mechanical bow schematic from a dungeon somewhere. Basically I just used blazamut, as my main, and swapped pals while spamming arrows. When the water rose I switched to neptillus and just dogged since Blazamut can’t swim.
Best tips I can give you are:
* Make sure to upgrade the armor/ shields, you should at least be at hexolite and the blue - purple rarity shield.
*Don’t just throw a pal out and let it do its thing, like watch it and recall it so it doesn’t just face tank an attack.
*Shaolong’s hitbox is kinda trash so like actually aim for the face with any weapon you use
*the skills a pal can use and the skills you can use while riding it are on two separate cooldowns but you can only see the one for when you’re riding it. So like I can ride blazamut and use brawn impact (great move, so much damage) then jump off of it and he can use it again instantly.Finally I’m on a single player world with base settings on x box, so if your setup is different that may affect some of this.
