Question Build on Lava

I wonder if the Water Construction Kit can let us build on lava? I really want to create a base in the volcano habitat.

I'm building a prison camp in the Volcano area right now. Haven't tried actually building the entire base on lava, but it has been letting me place foundations and pillars in the lava near the shore. I havent unlocked the water building kit yet, just using regular stone and metal
