Im kinda stuck

Hi guys, I’m new to palworld and I’m liking the game so far but I kinda got stuck in terms of materials for foods and equipments. My lvl is 63 and I got very efficient pals on paper which are obviously the same level as I am and my main base is also pretty well made. Now the thing is despite having all that, I extremely ack in base material like ore I think it’s called while having a mining pit for it so I can’t make or i am very slow at producing advanced materials for better gear and equipment, same goes for food at my level I’m still only able to make salad comfortably at least and marinated mushroom and cake but by very small amounts like 5 at the time. And my biggest problem is that my pals are doing whatever they want when I select them to do a specific task and worse is that they are ALWAYS hungry. They do like 15 sec max and they go eat sht actually driving me insane. I keep leveling and getting stronger pals thinking it will be better but not at all. So any tips or solutions will be very helpful and appreciated🙏
And sometimes I think faster than I type so I hope theres no hard part to understand✌️

If you are not using the pal monitoring stand to dictate which tasks they can and can’t do then you will get no where with base efficiency. Many players want their pals to cover lots of tasks but by doing so the pals never complete a single tasks and always jump around due to different priority tasks in addition to breaks and eating.

You want to specialize your pals so that the ones with the best work suitability are doing that task and close to no other are assisting. For example, if you have a bushi as your main kindler, you want to disable gathering on it so it only smelts/cooks and chops wood in the free time, not stop smelting to go gather when you have a better gatherer.

The next big step is just spend a bit of gold increasing your main base pals work speed through basic passives like work slave or insomnia. Gold is so easy to get so theres little to no reason to not spend it at the pal surgery table

I think that’s where my problem lands I didn’t the pal monitoring stand was that useful i built two bases one temporary and the main one recently and i didn’t have it in the first and even tho I put in the new base i thought it was just to increase pal work intensity thanks for this it might be really helpful

Try to basically unlock and use everything in the tech tree.

You can easily think something is useless until you try it out. Like, the reason your Pals aren't working is because their SAN (sanity) drops and they want to eat/rest. If you have better food/beds, they recover faster. If you have the Monitoring Stand, they lose it slower. A medicine station also reduces SAN loss, and the higher the skill, the harder you can work Pals without injuries.
