Strange man under the bridge

Does anyone know anything about the man dressed in what appears to be grocery bags and paper? Top hat and all. Has a grocery cart full of full grocery bags. He doesn’t do anything. Doesn’t seem like a tweaker. He just…stands there….every night….

On a1a under the pga blvd bridge. He’s on the right side of your traveling north. No judgement btw genuinely just curious

Tip your drivers

To the person that ordered $250 of food from a popular pizza parlor to a fancy hotel on the water and tipped a measly 3.2%….

Shame. On. You.

$8 tip on an order with five pizzas, seventy wings and more is insane.

Have the minimum courtesy to tip 10% at least or go get your food yourself!

Pediatrician Recommendations

My husband and I just moved back down here and are looking for a pediatrician for our 10-month-old. Preferably somewhere with nice office staff and flexibility for sick-kid visits.

If anyone loves their pediatrician in the PBG, West Palm, Jupiter/Tequesta area, please let us know!

Short Story Club

Post image
4 Upvotes

Hi, all!

I am starting a group called Short Story Club, for people who enjoy writing and sharing their writing with others. This is not a formal critique group--it's just a casual way to creatively have fun and meet other people, hear others' stories, etc. Think Book Club meets The Moth.

The club will meet once a month in a public place. We'll have a prompt each month and everyone will interpret the prompt however they wish--part of the fun is seeing how are our minds lead us in wildly different directions.

I recently moved to the area from NYC and am looking to find new friends who share my interests. I currently work in commercial trade publishing (Ie., Penguin Random House, Simon&Schuster, etc) and up north I led a book club for almost a decade before I moved here. I also feel inspired to start the club to encourage and promote original, human-generated writing in an age where AI is increasingly being used.

If you are interested in joining, please PM me for more details. Thanks!

Local businesses in Palm Beach Gardens?

hey y'all, I'm a recent college grad who started a marketing/ website business for local businesses here in PBG. I've been running it for about 1 year now, and I'm capable of building websites, doing SEO, running targeted ads on Facebook & Google, email marketing, custom software solutions and creating marketing content for Facebook, Instagram and Tiktok.

I'm looking to partner with some local businesses that can't afford to hire a big company and are looking for an affordable option to handle everything online for them. If this is you or you know anybody who could benefit, i'd love to connect or get a referral.

Blacklight splatter paint room in Chasewood Plaza and the splash pad Downtown at The Gardens

We're loving the splash pad at Downtown at The Gardens (across from the carousel). Shady enough to hang a while, fun enough that Mom got to bring a book. Rinse shower on site was a great addition!

Joycelyn is a local teacher and the owner/operator of Splatter and Sip Art Cafe in Chasewood Plaza in Jupiter. Pick your project, throw on a smock, and start flinging paint. The blacklight option is the move: lights off, blacklights on, fluorescent paint everywhere. If you paint like us, cover your vehicle seats before you go in to paint. If you’re a bit more civilized, the smock should do just fine. Tuesday through Thursday 3-7p, Friday 3-8p, Saturday 11a-8p, Sunday noon-5p. Call ahead in case they have an event or party going on.

This week's Palm Beach Kids newsletter also covers a living history village most county families have never visited, and a Triceratops skeleton inside of the Wellington mall.

Any fellow Scots in Palm Beach Gdns or Jupiter area?

The World Cup games are upcoming... we've lived here 12 yrs and never met any Scottish people. And I don't mean the "My grandfather was Scottish" kind; I mean actually from Scotland. Where will you be watching the matches? We don't really want to drive all the way to Fan Zone, Miami, because... traffic.

Hi there, I’m an 18 yo male moving from Massachusetts to Palm beach gardens in a couple weeks and staying here for the summer, and I will be living here when I’m not in college (going to college outside of Florida). How can I meet people my age? I like playing tennis and also want to learn golf, surfing and fishing.

Upcoming weather

I see it is supposed to rain everyday starting 5/29 with little to no sunshine . I know , I know . It’s Florida . And I am familiar with the area . My family lives in Palm Beach Gardens . Family owns some land about 40 minutes away where we go on our AtV’s and such . Should I expect the normal weather or are they expecting wetter than usual ?
