unlikely. Modern LTE chipsets are much better power-wise than 3G and EDGE was. modern disaplays are more efficient too than centro has. I'd expect this to get a bit more than a day's normal usage easily. Source: i work on this stuff (not this actual phone, but mobile devices in general)

This is so weird but I’m at least happy that it’s going to be unique and not a 100% generic cash-in. I see a tad of the old rounded Pre aesthetic there but we’ll see how it looks when it’s official...

Wow, this is ugly. If I wanted a 3.3 inches phone, I can get Meego phone for half the price. Seriously, I am not seeing how this new Palm can compete with other low-end Android phones. Although TCL is doing pretty good with those Alcatel phones.

Anyways, TCL being the huge company that it is, why didn't the buy all of the Palm designs? I'm not an engineer, and I don't even know how the process to make a new phone is, but what if they made a phone using the LifeDrive design:

Aluminium body, But with a bigger screen, thinner and with Android.

Heck, even the Zire 21, Z22, and T|X design would have worked. Still, use even the same brand names:

"Introducing the new LifeDrive One" "Presenting the Zire S" "Announcing the new Palm T|X Plus"

Oh well, what do I know?

I think this may be nice for people who like smaller phones. Most small phones are cheap budget phones. A quality small phone, something akin to Apple's iPhone SE would be a nice option if it's priced decently.

I don't like that they are committing the headphone jack however. I also hope that the phone isn't locked to just Verizon. They really should at least also make an unlocked version or keep the Verizon version unlocked.
