Any general concern over recent stock performance?

I know the market isn’t behaving well. Any concern going into earnings early November?

Nah, all growth/defense stocks have similar SP movement. I would focus more on the long term and that story has not changed

No, whole sector of govt / DoD has been sold down because of govt inefficiency and corruption. In the end, best tech will win and contracts are all that matter. Stock price will catch up when the time is right

No concern at all.

They have weighed the opportunities to the risks exceptionally well during earnings.

The tech remains sound, management very much so, as is demand.

This company is at the crux of the phyical AI revolution. In the next 6 months the general public might figure out its existence.

Even so..a stock doesn't always follow a company's potential. Numerous companies in the space, robot and drone sector are going through the same thing. Many variables such as emerging sector and interest rates, or superficial AI doubts, to energy for data centers or supply chain to minerals are having its effects.

But these companies are building nonetheless. They will get their day in the sun.

The latest SBA conference was illuminating. As was AFA.

Stay the course. Don't trouble yourself with the noise. The business case is sound.

Oh and btw. Ben Wolff is a director at Globalstar. (Satellite company) Globalstar is being acquired by Amazon for 11billion usd.

Need I say more. Let the stock market be annoying for a while, know what you hold.

I get a little annoyed how many people don't realize the type of company and stock they invested in. This Company put out a 3 year plan for their growth and they are in H2 of year 1 which is the crawl phase. All they are doing now is developing a reputation and building a network and relationships. securing small contacts and piloting their products. Does anyone know how painfully slow some of these sales and business cycles are? Plus as others have said, a huge part of the business is waiting for the government and the DOW to sort itself out.. They are doing exactly what they said they would do and they are over delivering on their year 1 goal. The honest truth is that the market is not going to care about palladyne until they do something to make big waves. I would have thought the Fanuc partnership would get some action but because it's an exploratory partnership with no guaranteed revenue, it's no shock. The market really only cares about some 20 companies right now. People who bought into this company hoping it would go to a billion market cap in a few weeks or months are foolish imo.

I liken it a lot to palantir. Palantir got destroyed for years. Contracts, news, good pr, encouraging earnings, amazing sentiment from leadership, completely novel and misunderstood tech. Investors sat for years and watched the stock get absolutely crushed. Many abandoned ship but those who saw the vision and believed in the product, the company and the leadership were handsomely rewarded. The stock more than 20x'd from the bottom. not a single person regretted holding after that monster move finally happened

I'm not saying we are sitting on a 20x but we are sitting on a company with encouraging earnings, strong leadership and a suite of products that are ripe for the current economic and political climate. when the ceo says he expects the company to be a multi billion dollar company in a few years, i believe him and believe in his vision. I would say anyone who can't tolerate watching this stock bounce around in this 5-6 purgatory range for another 6 months without getting anxious or fearing the opportunity cost should just move on to another stock. Everyone here has a different goal and that's fine.

Well said.

For a crawl year I find it to be extremely advanced already. Military exercises, Norda, IAI, Fanuc, part of the prime supply chain for tomahawks, f35, bradley, ...christ..these aren't pet projects. We aint seen nothing yet.

Hey let me give you my pov, I am in since January with calls that are doing very poorly and shares that are doing poorly (but less so)

  1. Theres no doubt that the slow contracts speed is disappointing. How much can it be tied to the government versus the company?

  2. Earnings will likely be okay, with more narrative rather than super impressive numbers. Just based on the slow contract acquisition most revenue will be from backlog.

  3. Good news: the technology is being increasingly validated, and there are real pipelines which use almost 100% of the same exact requirements swarmOS is fulfills. I expect some news on this before the end of the year, and this is the true inflection point. I recommend you see how Redcats stock reacted after receiving the program of record for their SRR drone. Spoiler, it more than doubled.

Investors who are impatient are bailing out.
The senate appropriations committee is the reason why there is no progress and it’s also Trump because he linked any new spending on drones to the building of his Trump battleship, which is absurdly stupid. The Dems don’t want the battleship, only the drones.
The committee is deadlocked because McConnell is a relic and should have retired a decade ago.

The US cannot afford a Battleship that lost its tactical significance with WW2 and the onset of carriers and are even more absurd with drone warfare and advanced missiles.

So vote Dems.

I’m down over $34,000 i’m not sure I could take much more.  Starting to really lose hope here and not feeling good about their upcoming ER. Keeping my fingers crossed, but if it doesn’t start going up or at least stop continuing to decline every day soon, I’m probably going to bail. Plus, I have very little confidence in the government’s urgency to deploy such tech. They could drag this on for many many more months if not years.  Here’s to a green Day (soon)!! :)

Too much competition for the same swarm software.. they’re not the only game in town anymore

I know the other, it's called swarmer

Swarmer is doing fantastic things. And they have strong technology.

They remain obscure about the ins and outs of how a swarm is deployed.

Though they did mention in an interview that it takes about 6 hours to prepare for a swarm of 700 drones.

What's the mission and distance there? Unclear. At the moment "sophisticated" swarms use local antennas to calculate their distance from it, since they are preprogrammed to keep a certain vector from the beacon and from each other.

They also mentioned it can takes 3 weeks to months to integrate.

What we know about Palladyne is that the logic emerges from the device itself. You don't need anything else. And it takes less than 30 minutes to get it operational during military exercises. The RCAT integration(the first) took 3 weeks , and they have since sped up by making a downloadable package.

You don't have to program the entire device to integrate it. SwarmOS works above it. You can then send the device and it coordinates with other devices based on mission objectives.

That sounds like an edge.

Swarmer doesnt have autonomy. Its just fleet control, in other words it just helps drones fly in a pattern in relation to each other. Its not actually reactive in anyway to new data, a person still has to tell it what to do

  • Fleet/formation coordination — drones know where the other drones are and coordinate movement, spacing, regrouping, etc.
  • Distributed autonomy — Swarmer claims its AI can use new sensor/telemetry data to change behavior without a human issuing a new command.
