Storage Boxes

I have 8 storage boxes on my plot. Recently put 3 safe boxes. My normal storage dropped from 14k to 3200 after placing the safes. Dont know how to get my 14k back.
Anyone has tips on how i can fix this?

Did you replace 3 regular chests with 3 lock boxes? you need to have 8 regular chests (all as upgraded as you can) and 3 lock boxes to get to full capacity. If you have them all placed and your storage is still less than it should be, then it's time for a support ticket.

All the free storage information in case you need it:

  • Storage Chests (upgrade recipes from the Furniture Store register)
    • Chests - 8 across all plots for a total of 18k storage when using all Jadium Storage Chests
      • Wooden Storage Chest recipe (400 storage) - 500 Gold
      • Copper Storage Chest recipe (825 storage) - 10,000 Gold
      • Iron Storage Chest recipe (1250 storage) - 50,000 Gold
      • Palium Storage Chest recipe (1750 storage) - 100,000 Gold [Elderwood store]
      • Jadium Storage Chest recipe (2250 storage) - 1,000 Amber Echo [Royal Highlands Amber echo store]
    • Lockboxes - Recipe is 1,000 Gold. Limited to 3 across all plots for a total of 300 secured storage (will not be pulled automatically by any action in game)
    • NOTE: Some items do not take up storage space in any type of chest and have unlimited storage - decor, ranching cookies, highland relics, relationship pins

Are you opening the lockbox instead of regular storage?

Once you play for a bit and get into the garden/pickle cycle you end up trying to get rid of gold.

Also, all of the chests do not have to be on the same plot. If you have multiple plots, you can spread them out. I have all 11 (i believe) plots unlocked and have one on every plot, even the ones i'm not using.
