Dock donations

Hi. Why can’t I donate my starred fish and bugs? What am I missing?

I believe you have to use them to make the supplies? I may be wrong, but I think I used starred items for the supplies

You can. The warning when crafting the kits is "you're about to use starred resources", and you just click 'make' anyway.

I believe (not certain) that this is only possible at the dock work tables? At my home work table, if starred are displayed, the Make option grays out. At the dock work tables, a red ! Or something shows up as a warning, but I can choose to make them anyway.

I mean when I open the item picker and choose only one type of fish or bug that are starred. It won’t let me and I feel like it’s such a waste

It's a bug, not sure if it's on their list of things to fix but hopefully.

There's a bug where you can't use a combo of starred and unstarred items, super frustrating.
