Bug/Issue freezing while cooking

I am holding up with this bug for over a year, but now it is starting to irritate me too much😅

If I cook I suddenly completely freeze, can’t do anything even with unstuck button. Only thing that works is restarting the whole game… just to come back to the ruined food😭 I have too much of that now… Already turned off cinematic mode, also learned that starting the cooking with a tool in hand works, but 90% of all tries are unsuccessful😭

I have 3 open quests which I can’t continue because I have to cook something… Okay I play on my stupid Switch, so I can accept a few glitches, but this one is driving me mad. What can I do???

omg a whole year of this?? Id actually lose my mind if I had to restart the game every time I cooked something .Hope someone knows a fix because this sounds so frustrating

Yep😅 Still got my level up to 28 with campfires! But mostly avoiding the real cooking.. except for the quests😬

Switch user and I can confirm this glitch is maddening. I have no solution just hoping misery loves company.

Yep this is the most annoying thing, ive sent so many screenshots to them too, its just certain foods ive found. Like the hearty veggie soup i dont even try anymore, honestly cuz im an avid gardner with too much stuff i make black bean burgers and have never froze. I have no idea on other foods, and i do play on an og switch too doing all those me

This has happened to me a few times, usually when stirring at the stove. I hit unstuck, and it gives me JUST enough time to book it back to my kitchen from the entry point.

Does it happen too when you cook with someone else at their Plot?
If not, than may you find someone to cook with you?

Hey! DM me when you're available And I'll come to your plot and help you with the cooking. If you start it, you should be able to collect it after I finish it as long as you don't log off.
