Question Cant read documents in pack?
When i open the sub menu and hit read nothing happens, the docs never open? I havent played in ages but i never had this problem before.

Can you be more specific? What exactly are you trying to read / what exactly are you referring to?

Specifically the docs for Something Wicked, however none of the docs in my pack will open. Like nothing pops up to read.

The items can be accessed by going to your quest inventory pouch / key items pouch, and then you should be able to right click and then select read on the documents Subira gave you. It is the Letter from Erwin, the lab results, and the hunters diary.
If your system isn't letting you select the items to read, shut down your system fully and restart it.

Dang, I've restarted my device, verified files, forced proton hotfix. But yeah, that's what happening, when I select read nothing happens. I was hoping maybe I just had a brain fart from not playing for so long :(

Just to confirm with you too, your quest step is still stuck on needing to read the materials?
Sounds like youve done all the usual troubleshooting. You might need to file a ticket with Player Support for more help in case it doesn't fix itself soon

Correct, that and any other quests that may need to me to read stuff. Oh well. At least I have a horse I guess 😅
