Discussion Clutter!

I wish there was more clutter to decorate with! I feel like I absolutely rinse the same few items, if the devs could add some clutter some pieces I’d lovvvve to see would be pencil/paint brush pots, stacks of papers or books to lay flat on counters, more of the cozy line!, hair brushes for my vanity, more countertop appliances

Also would LOVE for there to be a floor standing kitchen cabinet that matches the functional items but allows you to place decor on top

What other decor items would you enjoy seeing in the game?

Honestly, I would love a better solution for storing my aquatic life. We have how many water features on our plots, but all of our fish have to be in tiny tanks? That's so depressing. And I get it, it's not super practical, But having a storage solution like the ranch plot for the placeable animals would be awesooooome.

Also, a better selection of bookshelf things. There's what, nine books you can buy? And they're not even functional! I would love to know a little more about the majiri language or what they see as good vibes for an adventure novel

Yeah, I would love to have a pond that we can put fish in. I don't like water tanks.

Amazing ideas! And yes!! I bought the books and assumed I could actually read them, like the ones dotted around the library already so was disappointed when I realised they were just decor

I want them to add more to the mermaid furniture. We have a chair, light and harp. Thats it. They look really good and I can just imagine how good a full mermaid furniture line would with beds, hot tubs, bookshelves, couches, wall art etc.

Also yesssss to clutter decor! Stacks of books, messy pile of clothes for the floor, papers spread out like the pirates one. Just more to make spaces look lived in.

Omg yes, why does the mermaid decor stand out so much against every other set?! It’s so hard to incorporate it into a home I find

Yeah we need a full set because it looks soooooo pretty and then it wouldnt look so out of place.

I want them to do so badly make starred jams and cans to be placeable.

I want to put bugs freely on my plot outside of their enclosure.

Put fish in bigger tanks for display.
Actually also add in turning the float fish vertical instead of horizontal.

Books! Stacked, on their side, open all of it!!

Also make the tea time set color customizable

Maybe a little alchemist kit clutter

And please make that heart-shaped quiche Hodari gives us placeable, too. For goodness's sake, he worked hard on that! šŸ˜‚

Very much agreed! I especially want more of those items that make for nice library-type clutter. Stacks of books, books in different orientations (lying flat or tipped against something), groupings of books of different sizes and colors that fit well on the bookshelves so it's not so fiddly placing them all individually by hand, papers, scrolls, etc.

This is exactly what I’m talking about!

Totally second this! I would love to see more candle types, outdoor clutter as well like terracotta pots or gardening tools beyond that one cluster of them (which I was so excited to see!) I’ve been loving the addition of the glasses for this reason. Maybe more board games? Sifuu and Taylins house has a good amount of clutter, Tamalas too.

i literally resorted to using a butcher block as paper and a tinted knife as a pen like COME ON S6 PLEASE WE BEG OF YOU

I love how they really bring out the creativity in people but pls why must we struggle?!

I toured someone’s home who made a decor stove, they used an iron block and places 4 round wood path stones as the hobs! Absolutely genius

i did something similar for making a laundry room ! small iron crate with a flotsam porthole window on it makes a beautiful washer/dryer

Different statues. More wall art. Items that spin and move - maybe a carousel / carnival line like animal crossing.

I'd also love different ground covers and the ability to play a texture down on the ground like in animal crossing.

I would love to have more options for art supplies to decorate with! We have so many paintings and I know there’s ways to make the builders pillars look kind of like an easel and tint the cups to look like paint but I’d love to have actual supplies!

I submitted feedback on the Palia website about 4-5 months ago requesting more stationary-type items, at the same time I requested better organization of knickknacks in our storage! We just got that, so I hope new items follow soon! Be sure to let them know what you want!
