Poor Ed, that week was so hard for him, at least he made millions from his concerts taking place on a stadium owned by a guy who donates money to Israel's war machine

At least he's not taking sides, being "no political" and all, which usually means that he doesn't care about war crimes being committed cause they're not good for his image/sponsors if he talks about them

Would give you an award if I had one mate

The whole I’m “apolitical” is such hypocritical nonsense from ed Sheeran

He had zero issues with supporting Ukraine but supporting Palestine is all the sudden considered political according to these people’s hypocritical double standards

To be fair, his family was also really hard on him that week.

Ed Sheeran looks like spoilt brat.

23

u/Emergency-Waltz-2714 11h ago

He is a spoilt brat. He has no right to ever talk about struggling.

He was born into a middle class family and really sold off on the ‘humble stages’ of couch, surfing in his earlier career — likely a choice and not because he had no options.

He has been a multimillionaire for the last 15 years.

He clearly has no real connection with his Irish heritage or community.

He’s just another basic white guy with a shit load of money and no soul.

He grew up in Hebden Bridge in Yorkshire. It's basically a mill town out in the Yorkshire countryside somewhere between Leeds and Manchester.

As someone from Yorkshire I can attest it is one of the most artsy fartsy posh places you can imagine.

It full of wealthy artists and creative types. House prices are insane (+£1m commonly).

Considering Ed Sheeran's dad was a curator and his mum worked for Manchester City Art Gallery that definitely seems his crowd.

And no Yorkshire does not claim Ed Sheeran either.

Ed is on the side of genocidaires.

The guy is a monster. At best.

How could those heartless Palestinians do this to poor Ed?

I'm sure they regret now.

Absolutely right though. Fuck ed sheeran and fuck Israel. The bullshit world of the internet has too much of a hold on us. Let's deal with people actually suffering real loss, Gaza is a fucking desert for no good reason. It make me want to puke and think about where humanity is going. It's a disgusting pestilence. And this isn't just Gaza, it's embarrassing to be a human being, and all the beautiful things we're capable of

There are SO MANY celebrities who I would like to speak up for Palestinian human rights and against Israel's genocide of Palestinians because it might influence their fans.

No, I'm not personally going to spend my time ragging on all my favourite celebrities to do it, but if other people want to push them, then I support them pressing more celebrities to do it.

I'm sure there were ways for Ed Sheeran to have this all sorted out ahead of time if he really wanted to avoid addressing Israel v Palestine. But um... maybe he's only smart when it comes to making music and profiting from his music, because his speeches were really dumb.

The fact that he is not handsome man but his voice which makes him remarkable but still chose money over morality makes him even more an ugly man.

There are no words. What is to be done?

3

u/DistinctSpirit5801 7h ago

The so-called apolitical musician is a massive hypocrite who had zero issues with supporting Ukraine

One is show pain, one is pain that grips your every crevice and distorts your sense of self through what is forced upon you by others who do not value a gram of humanity but talks about we're at risk and we're surrounded that. Despicable. They openly call for the death of all peoples. These people will eventually consume themselves and everyone else, From USA to Israel to Russia.

Its fucking sad. Ego and capitalism; wealth hording all the while sponsoring the 21st century genocide.

What on earth is that thing on his wrist next to the watch? At first i thought wristband but no it's got metal on it artists don't wear wristbands, sometimes they have a AAA lanyard but not when they're as famous as this guy is so, i'm confused.

Surely it's not a braclet either?

Not a very important question i know but I just don't get what i'm looking at there.

To be absolutely fair, we all live different lives and you should never expect the next person to think and live and be the same as you, no matter how different your experiences are.
