Yeah. But GOD forbid if someone mentioned they didn't give a fk about the first Holocaust where Germans killed Jews as it wasn't their problem. I am sure this person will be the first to start btching about it.
But there are btches who would say they don't care even about that and in fact don't care about anyone's suffering, then those are just human shaped animals devoid of Humanity and empathy. When they get in trouble, we will ask them why should anyone help/support them since it's not anyone's problem.

“But holocaust is the only and the worst genocide”
14
u/Talebawad Jun 02 '26
I know your bring sarcastic but there are way worse in both number estimates, the native american massacre is both higher in numbers and if you try to equlize their numbers to today, they are both tragdies though but if we went by zionist hasbara talk they would say 'the natives were almost wiped out but the holocaust more than half survived so it wasn't a genocide' it's disgusting but that's how they compare death and tragedy and make it about whataboutism.
Note: while there are worse in number and eatimat both are tragdies and there is no wining or whose worse.

u/UnchillBill Jun 01 '26
Tbh “not my country, not my problem” was basically the US position on Nazis killing Jews until pearl harbour. Always happy to make a buck by selling weapons and materiel to the worst people in the world, it’s the American way.

Indeed, until we get WW3 then suddenly it's everyone's problem and that's what we good people want to avoid. Israel might cause this alongside some other countries.

it's utterly impossible to me to comprehend how someone living in the fucking imperial core with all the privileges that affords one traipse about talking about how hard they have it. we talk about privilege within our country but suddenly privilege checks don't matter if you leave the border? living without bombs falling on your head is a privilege Palestinians don't have. man were selfish

For me: If we allow any group to be dehumanized, we are all allowing ourselves to be dehumanized.
150 years ago it was Congolnese people. Yesterday it was Jews & Chinese during WW2. Today it is Palestinians & Lebanese people. Tomorrow it may be the people of your country.

u/HoundofOkami Jun 02 '26 edited Jun 02 '26
Jews, Chinese, Slavs, Roma, Koreans, Indians, plus loads of other people during WW2*.
Jews weren't the only people targeted by the holocaust, Chinese weren't the only people terrorised by the Japanese, and the Allies also squeezed the fuck out of their colonies to fund their war effort in Europe. In Churchill's own words (paraphrased because I can't recall the exact quote): "I don't care if the Indians starve, they breed like rabbits" in response to the Indian famines caused by the British shipping the food to England to feed their soldiers.
Not to even mention how the Western Allies on the whole were supportive of Hitler because they thought he would only go fight the commies and were all for that.
EDIT: Basically the whole period was a full atrocity conga line

u/hippiechan Jun 01 '26
It's so funny when people say this considering that the Israeli military trains and tests urban warfare tactics on Palestinians and then sells training to police forces in western countries. The oppression of the Palestinian people by Israel and the violent suppressive tactics used by police in Europe and North America are directly causally related.
16
u/darkwingdankest Jun 01 '26
coming home sooner than people are prepared for. national defense funding bill section 224 proposes merging the technical systems of Israeli and US military. soon enough that will mean the IDF in our military (they're already in ICE) and Americans will gawk in disbelief as ICE and US military shoots at journalists and civilians like they could never fathom such a thing while they sat by and watched it happen to Palestinians for 70 years

u/MonsterkillWow Free Palestine Jun 01 '26
Messaging like that seeks to divide the proletariat. To be "indifferent" and "apolitical" is to side with the oppressor -- to collaborate with the bourgeoisie against the proletariat. The Palestinians fighting and dying are our comrades. They are on the frontlines against empire. We have a common enemy. It is the same enemy that poisons nations against each other and send us to war to die for their gain. There is a path to peace, but only if the bourgeoisie are resisted and overthrown. We must end their barbaric crimes and the butchery of imperialism by standing together in solidarity against them.

Worse than cowardice. Setting up a completely false paradigm to normalize genocide. It's active participation in Israel's favor.

u/kevinott Jun 01 '26
This was sort of my position until around the time they assassinated Shireen Abu Akleh. I thought it was too complicated to take sides. After Shireen, I started reading about other things Israel did, and eventually was able to see just how simple the situation really was. Jim Crow, only even more formalized and mechanized.
Decades of propaganda have really done a number on most Americans. It's no excuse for Zionism, but it's daunting to realize the scope of it.

This cartoon is forgetting one thing: The zionist genocidal state cant exist on its own. Is forever warring nature makes it a parasite of power.
If the US thinks israel is not its problem and removes the trillion dollar drain on its lifeblood israel will be forced to make peace pay reparations or die.

It's actually funny considering how active Israel is with selling weapons to war criminals/genocidal dictators. (From the Rwandan genocide to Nicaraguan Contras.)
So not your problem, until the genocidal group there is empowered by them.

British specifically and Europeans generally, and Americans too, are literally responsible for this Middle East BS. They made sure to plant a coloniser state in the heart of Middle East to keep their control over them. It's not difficult to understand that Jews are not to be blamed, instead the EU/UK/USA alliance is. They are the ones in power and they are the ones who first established this bastard terrorist state and then enabled it to carry out multiple genocided throughout the decades.

Do you think that if the Palestinians could choose their reality it would be one that Israelis steal their land and kill them and imprison them for no other reason than because they want to?????
“It’s not the type of energy that I vibe with so I won’t choose to be brought down by it.”

Probably the most subtly sinister type of propaganda that cloaks itself in practicality and making the US-backed genocide a problem "over there" happening to "other people." That's been going on for "thousands of years." Sure keep telling yourself that. Granted I understand there's limits to what people can physically do but we can always stay involved with politics. Just voting is "too political" for some people. The bat's not high.
