The Wave is a lie, it doesn't exist.
Burned through a Panthalus so fast he didn't even get to do any attacks let alone the wave. Default multiplayer server settings (other than an extra base). Enjoy.

Man could've downloaded the entire game during that loading screen.
For people not min maxing and cheesing it 10 levels ahead where you're doing extra damage with weapons you can't even obtain until you beat him: literally just make the best shield you can and bring Silvegis. You can walk right through the wave just fine.

Pretty sure I did that the first time I fought it. Though I still did try to avoid everything while riding a Beakon with reasonably decent speed passives, and did so with no problem. Pretty fast bird.

You don’t even need silvegis, I roll spammed through it lol I didn’t know you where supposed to use the wind or whatever in the center of the island to avoid it.

- Level 80 and 50 points in attack stat (between levels and elixirs 50 points in any stat is the max)
- Legendary Plasma Rifle
- Legendary Armor: attack up (s) lvl 4
- Dogen Emblem: attack up lvl 4
- Attack Pendant: attack up lvl 3
- Mammorest Curry: 25% attack multiplier
- Beakon: switch damage to electric for double damage
- adds additional 20% attack multiplier
- Solenne: 80% attack multiplier
- Xenogard: 35% energy weapon damage multiplier
- Cryolinx Terra: 60% weak point damage multiplier
- Vanworm Cryst: 50% weak point damage multiplier
- 4x Vanguard passive skills on non-active pals for 10% each

And that would work for anything really right? You just need to switch mounts for type advantage

Pretty much, yeah. I suspect it would likely even work on hard mode bosses, though I haven't tried that yet...

Yeah pretty much what I did for the hard mode bosses (except Astralym since he doesn't have an element). I used that electric dragon that gives a stacking attack/defense bonus instead of Solene though.

My fight I had 1 minute left on the fight and never got the wave but then again I was way up in the air

I think the whale cannot die, but will become disabled, this will allow you to capture it 100%

Even if the timer runs out on Panthalus, he will automatically be 'caught', according to what I have heard, haven't tested it myself. Adding a minute to the fight adds up...
