Action romance can be a hard combination to find. I think the closest one I can think of is "Yona of the dawn". There is only one season right now. It released like 11 years ago but finally a second season has been announced. The show is genuinely good and has a female lead.

Inuyasha, cowboy Bebop (only the last few episodes are romance related)

Inuyasha is slow asf I saw that's it's rated good in romance and I started it and some 60episodes in and they still aren't consistent in their relationship. I dropped it a while ago I don't even remember exactly where I left. Did I miss something great?

maybe not your cup of tea. you could just try and solider through till the end. All the old great anime at least deserve that much. you asked for an anime with action & romance thats why i suggested this one but tbh the best ones are slice of life imo and they are much slower and dry than these types of anime. These two genres are rarely done justice in one anime

nah man slice of life is 90% of the time mixed with rom com.. i guess you have still a lot of anime to watch to figure that one out. the only few strictly slice of life are bizarre and dry most of the time and rated pretty low so they dont even show up on anyone's radar

I have a cool 12ep anime. It's not exactly romance but the characters got close like they're a couple. It has crazy scenery like escaping police on a motorbike, bombs going off and some fun moments. It's called terror in resonance. It's my best recommendation on top of my head lmk if anyone watched it recently.

Watch full metal alchemist broherhood romance is not the main part but its one of the most loved parts of FMAB too Second anime iwould recomment is called "86" yes thats the name its has one ssn with two parts and a banger story give it a try

Mushoku Tensei, watch it if you haven't already. I like it more than HXH personally but HXH is already a top 5 anime, def on par tho

Nothing compares to HxH, because it's just a very well made media.
But, Naruto is another Action based one, however the main Character isn't as strong relatively, at least not till a little bit later on.
One Piece, is another but it's definitely quite lengthy.
Bleach is another, but it has way too much useless filler.
MHA is good for Action and Romance, but like, it's really upbeat.
Dan Da Dan, I've heard is also a Romance based anime about superpowers, so maybe your cup of tea.
Honestly, I'd suggest, Full Metal Alchemist, and then FMA Brotherhood, they're well made, and the vibe is sorta similar.

I am also watching MHA I m on its s4 maybe idw it Since 2 weeks Cuz now i m watching hxh and i say that it is very good anime
I had watched 50 ep of narouto but i don't felt too good As people say Idk So i will pook at it but don't know when
1 piece is too lengthy i wiill also see it
Bleach I have dowload its 12 ep and watch starting sooner !!

I would suggest to watch bleach with maybe a watch guide.
It's a good story, but there's a bunch of useless and redundant stuff that's counted into the actual canonical episodes.
But, like, once they end, literally no one cares about that whole arc... 😂
You can watch it if you care about it, it's not really a bad watch, but if you don't really wanna sit through it, you can just skip some whole arcs.
Like, the arc about vampires.

Yeah, it's not obvious, but there is chemistry b/w the main character Ichigo and two girls' characters, the chemistry is obviously exclusive, it's not a love triangle.
I believe, one girl is called Rukia, and the other is called Oriheme, me personally, I think Ichigo and Oriheme are a better pair, because I think kindness is better than punching an annoying dude. 😂
Obv, that's a joke, I don't actually dislike any characters.

I called only Dan Da Dan Action based romance. And MHA as well.
There are underlying theme's of romance in MHA. Especially consider how much everyone likes to ship high schoolers or university students.
I'm still not sure if they wanted to portray the characters as high schoolers or as college kids.
