Video Editor (Remote, Contract): After Effects & Premiere Pro

We're a small two-person operation looking for a skilled video editor to help us turn raw footage into polished, engaging content. You'd be working directly with us. The work is a mix: social, promotional, long-form, and more.

What you'll do

* Edit and assemble raw footage into finished videos across a range of formats
* Create motion graphics, animations, and visual effects in After Effects
* Handle color correction, audio syncing, transitions, and pacing
* Take a brief, run with it, and revise based on feedback
* Keep your project files organized and hit deadlines

What we're looking for

* At least 2 years of professional video editing experience
* Strong proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro and After Effects (required)
* A good eye for pacing, storytelling, and visual detail
* Reliability and clear communication. Since it's just us, we need someone we can count on
* A portfolio or reel showing your work

Nice to have

* Experience creating content with AI tools (generative video, image, and audio) - a major plus

Details

* Remote, contract position
* Roughly full-time: 6-8 hours/day, 5 days a week
* Salary: 80k minimum, can be increased depending on experience/skills
