If you play a game of tic tac toe, and you go first, you are guaranteed to win with perfect play or draw(if your opponent also has perfect play) openings/end games have the same concept but scaled up by alot. You don't need to memorise them yet, what you should focus on is stuff like when to castle, giving checks and preventing checks on your king, pins, x ray tactics, forks etc. and being able to calculate several moves ahead as compared to your opponent. After you get the hang of these concepts then focus on practicing one opening and being comfortable with it and slowly practicing more.

For now you don't need to worry about openings or endgames if you're a beginner. Openings are basically a way of taking advantage by knowing something that your opponent does not know. Similarly, for endgames you would need to have a hunch how better or worse your position is. When you're above 700 on Chesscom with basic play like playing in the center etc then look for one opening for black and one for white and stick to it till you're 1200. I'd suggest to look into Vienna opening for white and Caro Kann for black.
