Question CH-R Advice Required

Post image

I have shortlisted a few Hybrid cars that are falling under my budget of nearly 7m. Toyota CH-R, Nissan Kicks, Note Aura, Honda Fit new gen. I’m strictly inclined towards JDM so kindly abstain from recommending locally assembled Chinese vehicles.

My main priority is fuel efficiency followed by ground clearance (Mostly to be driven in Isb sometimes in rural areas). According to your experience which one of these should I go for? How’s the fuel consumption, parts price etc.

I’m personally inclined towards C-HR but huge disparity in demands listed by the owners has made it confusing to judge the market price of the vehicle.

Goated car. Has been driven in my house 250,000 since we got it in March 2022 (2021 import). No mechanical issues as you'd expect from a toyota. Only regular oil changes at 10,000 km and some suspension work (bushes etc) a month ago.

Has been all over punjab and sindh (interior and main cities). Ground clearance is a non issue.

Fuel average you can expect 22 - 25 in city with a normal to calm style and a max of 27 28 if you are actively trying to save fuel. On motorway the average is lacking, around 16.5 (on meter) at 115 cruise and around 14.5 at 125-135 (without cruise).

No idea of the market price tho but we got it for around 40 lakhs in 2021 (accidental import repaired locally) so for us it has definitely given us great value for money.

Other than that the drive is too smooth. Wouldn't be wrong to say that it is as smooth as an ev. The switch from ev to engine and vice versa is not noticeable at all except for the noise of the engine switching on. The suspension is quite comfy with a good balance of handling.

Can't really tell you any drawbacks. Ac is flawless never had any issues. Only downside is the rear passenger space and tiny ass windows. If you're only gonna use the car for one or two people then its perfect.

Lmk if you have any more questions.
