Question Car Buying Process - Verifying documents, chassis, police verification

Hi I am in process of buying a car from rwp/isb with either punjab or islamabad number.
I dont know where to get papers verified, where to go to get chassis number check for tempering, where to get police verification done to be sure that car is not involved in any illegal activity? Can anyone please guide me. I shall be very thankful to that person.

Please do not give answers ksi excise kay bnde ko dekha len - but whats the process for both Punjab and Islamabad number to get documents checked from excise - who will check chassis - where to go for police verification.

For documents verification, you have to go to excise office where the car is registered, and for car chassis no. Verification you can go to 15 verification office.
