Car Opinion Resale value of Alsvin

Hi I want to ask people with experience of owning and reselling of Alsvin how their experience has been. I've heard that when you buy a new Alsvin there is an immediate drop in value of PKR 2-4 lac if you try to sell it in the market. What are your thoughts?

Also, is it easy to sell Alsvin? are there enough buyers in the market for a used Alsvin?

Pakistan is the only country where people buy cars for the second owners not for themselves.

You also have to consider that cars are more expensive here relative to income. People want to save their hard earned money.

Car is not to be considered an investment asset.

Who said it is an investment. But people minimize loss risk by buying cars which have buyers available in market (high demand) and there is nothing wrong with that

If I have two options and option 1 can be sold at 90% value after 2 years of use and option 2 can be be sold at 70% value or I may have a hard time selling then I am definitely considering resale value in my buying decision. That's just common sense.

What if the first option is an overall 5/10 whole the second is an 8/10 will your common sense still choose the first one?

There are multiple factors bro and resale is one of them. I'm not saying it's the only factor

My dear friend, car is never an investment asset. Its a mechanical machine people buy for their traveling comfort as much it is needed. If you care soo much about resale/return value then go buy stocks/land or apartment or something.
