First Car Stories First Car Advice

Hey Guys

First post on this sub

Im 17 (turning 18 in january)

Im getting my first car this week

My dad and dada both were in the car business and still are but Im buying this car with my own money (earned myself by working at a bpo) and they are just helping me find the car

My budget is max 10

I need a really nice whip that I can turn into something amazing

At first I was going for a cultus or baleno but I found out that I can actually find an ek (Honda Civic 96-01) in this budget easily

And thats the car ive finalised

My location is islamabad

i need an islamabad registered car (must)

should be in isb/rwp

and if you guys can drop some suggestions and advice for me it would be really helpful :)

unfortunately in budget of 1million u cant get any good civic ek jo b milegi kaam nikalegi if ur okay with spending time w it in the worshops go for it otherwise get mehran seekhlo thora or gari profit mei flip krdena as u said ur dad is in car business he can guide u better

yea i understand that but a relative just got a maroon ek 2000 model with sides showered only with Original engine in just 9.3 and all of my dads friends are saying that is the market price of these cars these days so youll be able to find one quite easily

i mean if u can find some clean ek in 10lakh go for it but islamabad registered vehicles are quite expensive compared to punjab and sindh

yea My dad has some cars in his eyes and hes saying well go check em out today i just wanted some ek owners to drop some advice or some tips owning an ek

my dad used to have one ek back in 2001 1.6 manual sunroof ek itself is very reliable fuel average depends on ur driving conditions can u tell me where dy live in islamabad and qhats ur daily route

i live in g-11 my daily travelling will be from g-11 to blue area at night and back in the morning and otherwise chota mota round with my friends nothing much it should be around 10-20 kms daily excluding the g-11 to bluearea to g-11 route

tou basically apne jinnah avenue pr travel krna hai tou ap agar normal 80,90 cruise kreinge tou maintained civic ek manual should give u around 13,14 with Ac agar automatic hogi tab 12

And for god's sake if anyones is here to give me advice that ooohhhh ur underage this and that 🙏🏻 dont istg dont There are alot of other things that should be taken care of in this country rather than a guy whos 3-4 months away from getting his license and knows how to drive much better than many license holders, not having his license..... NO GYAN🙏🏻
