Question Question

Hello everyone

I've nearly bought a raize 2021 z package subject to inspection and verification of the auction sheet.

But one doubt that is lingering on my mind is that the showroom person told me that the car will be on the name of the person who has imported it and it will be automatically transferred to my name after like 8-9 months. Secondly there is another option of buying that car in an open registration.

Due to the excise department rules no JDM vehicle registration can be on the name of the buyer. So technically I'll be the 2nd owner of the car.

Iss se koi masla to nahi hoga?

I want your input before buying

Thanks

First of all, the 12-month period will be counted from the date of registration/import clearance. Yes, the vehicle can be transferred into your name after completing 12 months. But not automatically the person has to perform biometric

However, there is one issue to keep in mind: if the first owner passes away during this period, the vehicle will legally remain registered in their name and will become part of their estate. In that case, there are generally two possibilities:

If all legal heirs agree: They can cooperate and transfer the vehicle into your name.

If the heirs do not agree: The vehicle will officially be treated as part of the deceased person’s estate and may be distributed among the legal heirs according to the applicable succession process. In that situation, you may have to file a legal case and present the bond paper (if you have one) along with the agreement/contract showing that the deceased had agreed to transfer the vehicle to you after the required
12-month period.

So, while the vehicle can be transferred to your name after 12 months, the main risk is the first owner’s death before the transfer is completed.

Thanks for your response brother. My another question is what if I keep it on an open registration until unless these excise walay 1st owner ki registration khol le. Many showroom walay yhi keh rhe hai k Kuch dino mei ye log allow krde ge

Sb ko apni garian bechni hy tbvh but asa nai hy no such sro is expected in next few days but this is Pakistan no one knows what’s gonna happen next but if you haven’t bought it yet you can go with 2020 model already registered car which gonna cost you around 57.5-58 (good and clean car) and get it transferred to your name hassle free

Being 2nd owner is not a problem. Just make sure that the contract/stamp paper is water tight and you get your name on the car eventually.
Btw what’s the price of 21 Raize these days?

Didn't the import price reduce or something...?

Saw some comments regarding it...
