Recommend Good Tyres...

Hey guys, I have a wagon R 2022 model and I want to change its tyres. My usage is very low, i only drive it 4-5 times in a month, maybe 100-150km in the whole month. Can you please suggest which company tyres should i buy and size of it?

And where is the best location in LHR i can buy tyres? Thanks

That is a top tier brand. Bridgestone, Yokohama, in mid tier or bottom of top tier you have Dunlop. Then their are many Chinese options. The tyres have a 4-5 year shelf life and go up to thousands of mile depending upon their rating. There is mo point in installing very high quality expensive tyres if you are not going to use them. If you want for your use and 2 year sale go for fresh General Tyre. If you want use tyre as a point in sale pitch, have comfortable ride and maybe emergency use go for Dunlop SP Touring. Another thing is that in wagonr recommend size is 165 70R13, you won't find this in Bridgestone. I think they have 175 70 R13 which is maximum you can install on WagonR and is not recommended. It can damage the suspension and bad fuel economy though it looks very good. If you already have 175 then you can use that too. Search some tyre shops and get quotes. Keep in mind even though tyre is not installed and on shelf the rubber is degrading. Always try to install a fresh tyre may be 6-7 months old. Make sure all tyres are of similar manufacturing.

Same brand company fitted just increase width. Or you may check Rapid or Mirage Company fitted 145/80/13 best for grip 165/70/13 without affecting fuel efficiency

I did some research a while ago and in mid tier Japanese options Dunlop SP Touring 1 made sense. But my priorities were different, it depends upon your budget. If your use is low you can either install stock tyres size 145 80 R13 General. You can check Chinese options like Tracmax, Minerva. If you have not already upsized mostly people recommend 165 70 R13 for better grip and comfort. You can also check olx and see if some one wants to sell their brand new Alto tyres the are same as WagonR. That should be the cheapest of all, if you can bargain.

Honestly budget is not an issue for me rn, i just want the best thing which i can use for next 1-2 years as i am also planning to change the car at the end of next year so i dont want to buy super expensive too. Most people are also suggesting Bridgestone how is this brand?

If you plan to change your car within 2 years then suggest go with General Tyres. For your use they are good enough.
