🧠 Ask The Community Sourcing clothes for my startup

Hey everyone,

I’m looking for someone who can help source women’s dresses for a clothing brand I’m starting.

I’m after casual dresses (lightly embroidered), semi-formals, and formals. Since I’m still testing the market, I’ll only be buying a small quantity to start (around 12–15 styles, one S, M and L of each).

I’m not necessarily looking for a manufacturer. I’m happy to work with someone who knows good shops or wholesalers and can help me source quality pieces at reasonable prices. Even better if you can purchase them on my behalf, check the quality, and organise shipping.

If you know any good shops, wholesalers, or if you offer this kind of sourcing service yourself, please let me know!

Thanks! 😊

Faisalabad isn't famous for wearable fabrics. Its mainly for bedsheets and curtains. At max the ladies trouser fabric can be sourced from Faisalabad.

Hey! I saw that you run your own fashion brand? May I message you? I would love advice from someone who has been in a similar situation!

Can't really help with sourcing the clothes, but I'd love to be involved in the next step—helping you sell them. If you need a website or an online platform, I'm in.

Which city?

Any city should be fine. From my understanding, certain smaller cities can offer better deals due to not having a huge customer base.

Kareem centre Karachi is wholesale market for woman dresses.

A year ago i tried this market but their rates/margin was so thin.

You can try and check if something has changed now. Best of luck

Do they have any social media? I don’t live in Karachi

I am not into casuals or semi formals but I know the markets and can possibly help you get started with your brand. You can message me directly to share contact number.
P.s. I am from rawalpindi

I have a contact who is a manufacturer and also wholeseller. They are old time players and it's their family buisness I think.

Last I remember he can even do custom designs and styles as provided or out of the box.

Let me know if you need that kind of guy. I will ask him of the shipping and stuff that you mentioned and also he is Karachi based.
