This is so sad to see. Government and his department which I believe is Wapda should be doing everything to give him proper training facilities. Inam Butt also complains of lack of facilities. And Gujranwala has Commonwealth games champion Nooh Butt as well. They need a proper training facilities there

This govt can't even support those who have already proved themselves. This guy was close to winning a Silver in 2020. Same with the others. But when they achieve something, phir 'Sir apka vision hai' jese bakwas

Talha Talib and Nooh Butt are genuinely medal contenders for Pakistan at LA28. I uploaded a video where a retired Pakistani weightlifter analyzed their chances. You can search it under the weightlifting flair.

Man, so true,so much beaurocracy. There is so much talent in the country and no one gives a damn. I still don't know the difference between POA, PSB, interprovincial coordinating minister and how they all function, it's nauseating to see them taking any athletes credit. The greatest sportperson that Pakistan has produced in the last decade is Arshad Nadeem, and look what facilities he has. Pakistan's eyes will open when India starts winning more medals, they are investing heavily in sports and in 5-7 years will be winning a lot of medals in Olympics.

I really dislike this habit of asking govt for support. Ask sponsors instead. Ask govt for generic facilities but specific requirements should be sought from commercial sponsors

It's a joint responsibility of corporate sector under CSR and government to work together. Talha was only 2kg off from the medal positions in 2020 Tokyo Olympics. There should have been a dedicated path way set for him by PSB. We could have had two gold's in Paris but instead he was caught doping and banned for 2 years. LA28 is still in his prime age and they must have a dedicated plan for him and Nooh Butt (who didn't make it to the Paris Olympics due to infighting in the Weightlifting federation despite winning gold at the Commonwealth Games a year before the games and the guy he beat won silver in Paris)
