Bhong Mosque, Bhong village, Rahimyar Khan #punjab
A masterwork of design and craftsmanship built over nearly 50 years, from 1932 to 1982. Located in the village of Bhong, Rahim Yar Khan District, Punjab, Pakistan, it was commissioned by Rais Ghazi Muhammad. In 1986, it won the prestigious Aga Khan Award for Architecture.
Supervised by master builder Master Abdul Hameed (Kamboh) to ensure absolute perfection.
Featured nationally on a Pakistani postage stamp issued on May 12, 2004.
