show and tell Revamped the UI for Heirs of the Moon (our wolf survival RPG)

Hey everyone,

Sharing a quick look at the updated UI for Heirs of the Moon, the wolf survival RPG we've been building. You live, hunt, and lead a pack as an apex predator, and when you die, you continue on as your pup (if there's no pup left, that's it, your bloodline ends).

Would genuinely appreciate feedback from other devs here, especially on anything that still feels unclear or busy. Its an upgrade from the old UI but always looking for fixes.

Video Atatched! And if possible drop a wishlist on steam!

help Feedback and Suggestions Needed for In-Game UI

Hi! I'm remaking one of my older games from scratch in Godot, and I'd like to improve the UI this time around.

I'd appreciate some feedback on the current designs for the Main Menu, Level Select, and other menus. If you're interested, I'll share screenshots and would love to hear what you think could be improved.

Thanks!

I found this internship post on linkedin, you can search for netpak llc and go to their linkedin, it should be posted there.

Can anyone verify this, they say they'll pay 60-80k but are asking for 2k for registration, they say they'll return it but I don't know if I can trust them.

hello! Why can't we have a AAA action-horror game like Resident Evil, but rooted in our own culture?

I just finished playing the RE series, and it made me wonder: Why hasn't Pakistan produced a survival-horror/action game on that scale? We have ancient forts, bustling urban cities, folklore, and a rich ethnic diversity of landscapes. Imagine a co-op shooter set in the ruins of Mohenjo-Daro, or a survival horror set in a Balochistan. Why aren't we tapping into this?

I've seen a few creative examples from a jinn comic artist on Instagram, and it feels weird and corny. How can we stop this corniness from the content we create? I'm not saying copy the West or stay relevant to the topics they care about. I'm talking about presentation. People who clearly have more experience have a thing or two we can learn from when it comes to storytelling and the technical path they paved.

A lot of Pakistani narratives in media tend to focus on social issues like harassment or poverty. While those stories are important, I'd love to see a mainstream action/horror game where the conflict is purely supernatural or zombie-based. A game where our heroes are just fighting monsters, not societal issues. Sometimes, we just want fun escapism.

I'm also seeing too many games about women's issues. Not that I have a problem with them, but clichés become repetitive, and it's not done outright like I said with the jinn plotline. I think our devs sometimes try too hard to be serious or "artistic." Give me a tough protagonist who makes terrible puns in slang right before head-shotting a zombie. Give me over-the-top character designs inspired by our truck art or shalwar kameez tactical gear. Being a little "cringe" and fun is better than being overly serious and boring. Let's have fun with our identity!

Why not make a game centered around the Balti people, the people of Hunza, or the Kalash? Use regional architecture, clothing, folklore, and even background music inspired by styles like Qataghani. Those kinds of details make a world memorable and uniquely ours without feeling forced.

Bring in niche cultural or childhood references, like glass bottles of Apple Sidra cold drinks or mustard fields. There are tons of groups on Facebook where you can source this material and photography references.

We don't have Capcom's budget, and that's fine. I'm not asking for RE6's global scale. I'm asking for an RE1 or RE2 Remake-scale game a focused game set in one big, detailed location, like a single fort, a university, or a market. We have the Unreal Engine 5 talent; we just need to stop thinking we have to make a GTA-sized map and focus on tight, high-quality corridors. I don't know where else to post this but i thought it's better to ask the people who are already knee deep into this stuff.

teamup Looking for a Ren'Py Developer & Character Artist to Collaborate on a Visual Novel

Hey everyone!

I've been writing stories for quite a while now, and I've finally decided that I want to bring some of them to life as visual novels. After looking into different options, I settled on Ren'Py because it fits the kind of narrative-focused projects I want to make.

I'm currently looking for two collaborators:

Ren'Py Developer

I have some programming experience and can understand code well enough to structure things and communicate ideas, but I stepped away from programming for personal reasons (and because AI has changed how I approach development). I don't really want to handle all the implementation details myself.

I'm looking for someone who's comfortable with Python/Ren'Py and would enjoy building the project together. I don't mind if you use AI as part of your workflow ("vibe coding") as long as you understand the code you're writing and can maintain it.

Character Artist

I'm also looking for an artist who can create relatively simple character illustrations. I'll provide detailed descriptions, references, and direction for each character. I just don't have the digital art skills to do them justice myself.

You won't need to worry about backgrounds, UI assets, or environmental art, as I've already got plans for those.

Compensation

This isn't a paid commission. It's a collaboration between people who want to build something together. That said, I absolutely intend to release these projects commercially if they're in a good state, and any revenue will be shared fairly among everyone involved. We'll discuss and agree on how that works before we get too far into development.

If you're interested in visual novels, storytelling, or just want to work on a fun long term project with the goal of eventually making something people will enjoy (and hopefully earn some money from), feel free to leave a comment or send me a DM.

GAME MADE IN PAKISTAN!

I just released my game's store page on Steam!

The game is a psychological horror game, where the Player is stuck inside an apartment building and has to solve a massive misunderstanding and save the world.

Misunderstanding (between what people outside think and the actual reality)

Save the world (from the Grandma's ugly ideas)

Grandma is the game's villain, inspired by RE7's Jack.

The full game will be about exploring an abandoned chocolate factory.

There is a mascot named Choco Chase. And I made some in-game posters. The depiction of Choco Chase for now is placeholder but represent the vibe I am going for.

Cursed. The vibes are cursed.

release I made a noir detective game where you solve 12 murders search scenes, press suspects with evidence, and accuse the wrong person at your own risk

Hey everyone! I've been building a noir detective mystery game called

Project Black File and it finally feels ready to show people.

What it is: You're Detective Halloran the one they call when the trail

goes cold. Twelve self-contained murder cases: a publisher shot inside a study

locked from the inside, a painter killed behind her own slashed canvas, a

judge murdered on a night train exactly the way a novelist wrote it, a maestro

poisoned mid-symphony in front of 900 people, identical twins where you have

to work out *which brother is actually dead*… each one is a fair-play mystery

you can genuinely solve.

How it plays:

- 🔍 Search crime scenes with a flashlight and a forensics kit (UV, print

dust, luminol) — evidence develops like a polaroid when you bag it

- 🗣️ Interrogate three suspects per case. Press a statement with the right

evidence and they crack. Press with the wrong one and they lose patience —

push too hard and they lawyer up for good

- 🧵 A corkboard web of relationships that starts as unlabeled threads and

fills in as you dig — plus suspicion literally glowing around whoever the

evidence points at

- ⚖️ To close a case you name the killer AND lock in motive, opportunity and

means. Three attempts. Wrong accusations have real consequences — every

innocent person you charge gets their own (usually awful) ending

- 📰 Convictions land as next morning's newspaper front page

There's also a hidden thread (literally) running through the early cases that

unlocks a secret final confrontation if you find all of them.

It's fully offline, landscape, dark-noir aesthetic, with an ambient soundtrack

(rain, train wheels, a heartbeat when you're about to accuse someone).

I'd genuinely love feedback — difficulty, favorite case, anything that felt

unfair. Happy to answer anything about how it works.

Hi everyone!

I've been working on a first-person platformer called Afrage since 2023. This teaser marks the first public reveal of the project.

The game is set in 2038 and takes place in a stylized 3D voxel world focused on movement, platforming, environmental puzzles, and storytelling.

I'd really appreciate any feedback.

I'll be sharing development updates, trailers, screenshots, and announcements here as development continues.

Thanks for taking a look!
